Design
The name assigned to the 1 Troy ounce Silver Fiji Taku can be traced back to the Fiji Islands where the locals gave the name Taku to the turtle featured on the coin’s front. The turtle is pictured swimming underwater surrounded by bubbles. The reverse of the coin depicts two of the island’s indigenous inhabitants in original attire standing either side of Fiji’s coat of arms.
