The 1 oz Rwanda Antelope, also known as the Rwanda Impala, is part of the African Wildlife series which was first introduced in 2008 on behalf of the Republic of Rwanda. This series is a tribute to the breathtaking wildlife of this African country. The coins are adorned with a different African animal each year, this is the seventh coin from the series.
Impressive design of the Rwanda Antelope 2014
The design depicts the country of Rwanda, complete with all of its contours. Below, two impalas can be seen standing on the African plain. Details of the coin’s mintage and purity of .999 is inscribed near the edge of the silver coin. The other side of the coin hold the Rwandan coat of arms and shows the coin’s nominal value of 50 Franc.
