The Lion is symbolic for courage, strength and nobility, as well as being the animal representation of the country of England. The lion is depicted on the coin with the coat of arms of the United Kingdom and accompanied by the text “Lion of England”. Its designer is Jody Clark. This coin is minted in 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams) gold with a purity of 999.9/1000.
