The 1 Troy Ounce Bald Eagle 2014 is a silver coin issued as part of the new Birds of Prey series by the Royal Canadian Mint. This coin is the second of four silver coins featuring Canadian birds of prey. It is expected that the complete series will be released over a period of two years, with two Birds of Prey coins being issued annually. It follows on from the successful Peregrine Falcon coin that was issued earlier in 2014. Royal Canadian Mint has successfully launched a number of miniseries that have become extremely popular with both investors and collectors. It is expected that this coin series will join their long line of successes.
